About Us


William Chu
As an acoustical consultant for the past 18 years, William has acquired practical experience in developing collaborative solutions with architects and engineers for a wide variety of project types.
His completed projects include recital halls, multi-purpose theaters and concert halls, and entertainment venues. He consults on HVAC noise and vibration control analysis and mitigation recommendations for healthcare environments; acoustical analysis, design recommendations and documentation of LEED and CA-CHPS acoustical requirements for educational facilities; sound isolation and impact insulation testing and recommendations for residential developments.
William is an active member of the AIA Los Angeles Architecture in Healthcare steering committee, and has written several articles on acoustics in healthcare spaces. He has also presented a variety of topics at Acoustical Society of America meetings, including acoustical modeling, privacy in open offices, and reverberation and sound absorption approaches for performance halls.


Bill Dohn
Bill Dohn has been consulting in building acoustics for over 30 years, and has operated Dohn and Associates since 1995. Mr. Dohn has provided acoustic analysis and design for hundreds of building projects, including concert halls and theatres, convention centers, libraries, churches, office headquarters, schools, university facilities, music teaching facilities, and recording facilities.
